Our experienced camp counselors lead team-building exercises and group activities designed to help kids develop communication, collaboration, and leadership. Our Story
Welcome to Camp Power Up!, where technology meets fun and learning. We're Tim and Jim, two best friends who share a love for technology and education. Tim is a librarian for Wilton Public Schools, and Jim is a music teacher in Stamford Public Schools. With over 15 years of teaching experience each, we're excited to bring our expertise to this tech summer camp.
Our friendship began in 2007 when we worked together as swim instructors at a summer camp. We quickly discovered our mutual passion for working with kids and creating unforgettable experiences for them. Over the years, we've continued to collaborate on various projects and initiatives, and our shared love for technology led us to create Camp Power Up! in 2014.
At our tech summer camp, we believe that technology is not only a tool for entertainment but also a means for learning and problem-solving. Our programs are designed to spark creativity and innovation in kids while also fostering important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
